A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO NAME THE PORTION OF SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAY 56 IN LAURENS COUNTY FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 26 TO THE ENOREE RIVER BRIDGE WHICH FORMS THE BOUNDARY BETWEEN LAURENS COUNTY AND SPARTANBURG COUNTY "DONNIE WILDER HIGHWAY" AND TO ERECT APPROPRIATE SIGNS OR MARKERS ALONG THIS PORTION OF HIGHWAY CONTAINING THE WORDS "DONNIE WILDER HIGHWAY".

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina request the Department of Transportation to name the portion of South Carolina Highway 56 in Laurens County from its intersection with Interstate Highway 26 to the Enoree River Bridge which forms the boundary between Laurens County and Spartanburg County "Donnie Wilder Highway" and to erect appropriate signs or markers along this portion of highway containing the words "Donnie Wilder Highway".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
