A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, RELATING TO HIGHWAY PATROL, SUBARTICLE 1 WRECKER REGULATIONS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 2821, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    The regulations of the Department of Public Safety, relating to Highway Patrol, Subarticle 1 Wrecker Regulations, designated as Regulation Document Number 2821, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

BY PROMULGATING AGENCY.

The changes will update existing regulations to enhance the administration of the Department's Wrecker Rotation List by clarifying the duties and responsibilities of wreckers on the rotation list and revising the system for handling complaints regarding wrecker rotation calls under the Department's Wrecker Rotation List.
