A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE LLOYD DEAN TUCKER UPON HIS RETIREMENT FROM THE STATE TRANSPORT POLICE AFTER MORE THAN FIFTEEN YEARS OF SERVICE, TO COMMEND HIM FOR HIS HARD WORK AND DEDICATION, AND TO WISH HIM MUCH SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN ALL OF HIS FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, Lance Corporal Tucker began his career with the State Transport Police in January of 1988; and

Whereas, for fifteen years, he has patrolled the highways of South Carolina ensuring the safety of the many motorists who travel the state's roadways; and

Whereas, on April 30, 2003, Lance Corporal Tucker retired to spend time with his granddaughters, Gracen and Jessica, and to pursue his favorite hobby, which is fishing in the ponds on his property; and

Whereas, Lance Corporal Tucker will celebrate his retirement on June 14, 2003, with his wife Ellen, sons Jason and Shane, and the rest of his family and many friends; and

Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives would like to express their gratitude to Lance Corporal Lloyd Dean Tucker for his many years of outstanding service with the State Transport Police. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulate Lloyd Dean Tucker upon his retirement from the State Transport Police after more than fifteen years of service, commend him for his hard work and dedication, and wish him much success and happiness in all of his future endeavors.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Lance Corporal Lloyd Dean Tucker.
