To whom was referred a Joint Resolution (H. 4772) to approve regulations of the Department of Natural Resources, relating to wildlife management areas and chronic wasting disease, designated as Regulation Document Number 2885, pursuant to the provisions, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, RELATING TO WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREAS AND CHRONIC WASTING DISEASE, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 2885, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    The regulations of the Department of Natural Resources, relating to Wildlife Management Areas and Chronic Wasting Disease, designated as Regulation Document Number 2885, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

SUMMARY AS SUBMITTED

BY PROMULGATING AGENCY.

These regulations amend Chapter 123-40 and 123-51 in order to set seasons, bag limits and methods of hunting and taking of wildlife on existing and additional Wildlife Management Areas. These regulations add Chapter 123-54 Chronic Wasting Disease import regulations.
