To whom was referred a Concurrent Resolution (H. 4962) to recognize and congratulate Judy Wolk, of Charleston for her selection and service as National President of the Real Estate Educators Association and her service to the National Association of Realtors, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO RECOGNIZE AND CONGRATULATE JUDY WOLK, OF CHARLESTON FOR HER SELECTION AND SERVICE AS NATIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE REAL ESTATE EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION AND HER SERVICE TO THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, THE SOUTH CAROLINA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, AND THE CHARLESTON TRIDENT ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS AND TO ACKNOWLEDGE JUNE 22, 2004, AS "JUDY WOLK AND THE REAL ESTATE EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION APPRECIATION DAY".

Whereas, it is important to recognize and acknowledge those outstanding South Carolinians whose achievements demonstrate their superior level of expertise and the role they play in achieving national recognition for the Palmetto State; and

Whereas, Judy Wolk is serving as the 2003-2004 Real Estate Educators Association National President and contributing to the promotion of the state's real estate industry by fostering, developing, and improving the level of real estate professional education; and

Whereas, the Real Estate Educators Association is an international organization serving professional real estate educators, proprietary school owners, college and university instructors, and real estate commission education directors by providing high quality education programs, publications, and networking opportunities; and

Whereas, the role of the Real Estate Educators Association is to promote quality real estate education, enhance professional growth among members, facilitate the exchange of ideas, serve as a resource for current information, provide educational standards, and promote public confidence in the special skills and knowledge of real estate educators; and

Whereas, with such a successful, outstanding South Carolinian at the helm of this prestigious organization, it has brought great pride and recognition to not only Judy Wolk, but also to the entire South Carolina real estate industry. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize and congratulate Judy Wolk, of Charleston for her selection and service as National President of the Real Estate Educators Association and her service to the National Association of Realtors, the South Carolina Association of Realtors, and the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors and to acknowledge June 22, 2004, as "Judy Wolk and the Real Estate Educators Association Appreciation Day".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Judy Wolk at the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors.
