A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO NAME THE PORTION OF UNITED STATES HIGHWAY 17 FROM THE COASTAL RESEARCH AND EDUCATION CENTER IN CHARLESTON COUNTY TO THE CHARLESTON/COLLETON COUNTY LINE THE "STATE REPRESENTATIVE CURTIS B. INABINETT HIGHWAY" AND TO INSTALL APPROPRIATE MARKERS OR SIGNS ALONG THIS PORTION OF HIGHWAY CONTAINING THE WORDS "STATE REPRESENTATIVE CURTIS B. INABINETT HIGHWAY".

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly request the Department of Transportation to name the portion of United States Highway 17 from the Coastal Research and Education Center in Charleston County to the Charleston/Colleton County line the "State Representative Curtis B. Inabinett Highway" and to install appropriate markers or signs along this portion of highway containing the words "State Representative Curtis B. Inabinett Highway".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
