VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO RECOGNIZE T. RANDALL HALFACRE OF LEXINGTON COUNTY FOR HIS DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AS A TOWN COUNCILMAN AND TO CONGRATULATE HIM ON BEING ELECTED MAYOR OF THE TOWN OF LEXINGTON.
Whereas, it is with great pleasure that the House of Representatives honors those individuals who give of themselves for the good of their individual communities as public servants, making the State of South Carolina a better place to live; and
Whereas, T. Randall "Randy" Halfacre has given tirelessly of his time and talents for over ten years while serving on the Lexington Town Council since November 1994; and
Whereas, providing extensive leadership in the Lexington community, Mr. Halfacre served as Mayor Pro Tempore of the Lexington Town Council from December 1998 until December 2000; and
Whereas, retiring from the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation as Deputy Director in 2000, Mr. Halfacre furthered his career in joining Lesesne Industries in corporate development and sales; and
Whereas, recognizing his extraordinary ability to motivate people to achieve great things for the good of the community, the voters of the Town of Lexington elected Mr. Halfacre Mayor of the Town of Lexington in November 2004. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize T. Randall Halfacre for his distinguished service as a town councilman and congratulate him on being elected Mayor of the Town of Lexington.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Honorable T. Randall Halfacre, Mayor of the Town of Lexington.
