VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO CONGRATULATE THE CHAPIN HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADING TEAM OF LEXINGTON COUNTY ON ITS IMPRESSIVE 2005-2006 STATE CLASS AAA CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE AND TO HONOR THE CHEERLEADERS AND THEIR COACH VICKI WILLIAMS ON AN EXCEPTIONAL SEASON.
Whereas, a championship caliber cheerleading squad demands strength, flexibility, and timeliness, as well as trust, spirit, talent, and teamwork; and
Whereas, using those talents, Coach Vicki Williams, along with the members of the Chapin High School Cheerleading team pulled together and produced an impressive 2005-2006 championship squad; and
Whereas, the ladies of Chapin High School captured the state cheerleading championship under the leadership of Head Captain Lacey Canada and Captain Emily Bryson; Football/Competition Captain, Mallory Stokes, and Basketball Captains Whitney Reese and Ashley Kirkpatrick; and
Whereas, each of these varsity cheerleaders has grown into a true champion and has learned to do the best with her natural abilities; and
Whereas, the accomplishments of the Chapin cheerleaders this year have brought deserved credit not only upon themselves and their coaches but upon their school and community as well; and
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, take great pride in recognizing the young ladies of the Chapin cheerleading squad for their superior efforts, great determination, and super accomplishments during an outstanding season and commend them for being model student athletes. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulate the Chapin High School Cheerleading Team of Lexington County on its impressive 2005-2006 State Class AAA Championship title and honor the cheerleaders and their Coach Vicki Williams on an exceptional season.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Chapin High School Cheerleading Team.
