VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO AMEND SECTION 50-9-520, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO LIFETIME COMBINATION LICENSES, SO AS TO REVISE AND INCREASE THE PRIVILEGES WHICH THE HOLDER OF THIS LICENSE IS GRANTED.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 50-9-520 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 372 of 1996, is further amended to read:
"Section 50-9-520. A resident of this State may obtain from the department at its Columbia office a lifetime combination license which grants the same privileges as a statewide combination license granted to a person at least sixty-four years of age holding a statewide lifetime hunting and fishing license under Section 50-9-510(15). The licensing fees are:
(1) Type A which is available only to an individual under two years of age: three hundred dollars;
(2) Type B which is available only to an individual under sixteen years of age: four hundred dollars;
(3) Type C which is available only to an individual sixteen years of age or older: five hundred dollars;
(4) Type D which is available only to an individual sixty-four years of age or older: nine dollars."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
