TO CONGRATULATE MR. AND MRS. PHIL SHERER OF BALLENTINE ON THEIR FORTIETH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AND TO WISH THEM A JOYOUS CELEBRATION AND MANY MORE YEARS OF HAPPINESS TOGETHER.
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives are pleased to have the opportunity to recognize Verdie and Phil Sherer on forty loving years of marriage and wish them many more happy years together; and
Whereas, both Mr. and Mrs. Sherer will be honored by their family and many friends at a fortieth anniversary wedding celebration to be held on Saturday, January 22, 2005; and
Whereas, the Sherers are widely known members of the Lexington County real estate community for over thirty years where they have earned the respect and admiration of all those with whom they have come into contact; and
Whereas, this lovely and gracious couple are blessed with a daughter, Delle, who has been a joy to them during her entire life; and
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives want Mr. and Mrs. Sherer to know that their thoughts are with them on this splendid occasion and that each member of the House of Representatives share in their joy. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Phil Sherer on their fortieth wedding anniversary and wish them a joyous celebration and many more years of happiness together.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. and Mrs. Sherer.
