A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO COMMEND AND RECOGNIZE THE WACCAMAW HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS GOLF TEAM ON ITS IMPRESSIVE WIN OF THE 2005 CLASS AA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE AND TO HONOR THE PLAYERS AND THEIR COACH, TODD RODENBECK, ON AN EXCEPTIONAL SEASON.

Whereas, the Waccamaw High School Girls Golf Team capped their outstanding season by capturing the 2005 Class AA State Championship Title; and

Whereas, excellence in golf demands individual strength, agility, and skill, as well as team play and good sportsmanship; and

Whereas, using those talents and attributes, Coach Todd Rodenbeck and his players showed both fans and foes that championship titles can be earned with dignity and honor; and

Whereas, the eight young women of the Waccamaw Girls Golf Team showed great poise and grace on the course, always remaining sportsmanlike and representing their school and surrounding community with the finest caliber; and

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives take great pride in recognizing the young women of the Waccamaw High School Girls Golf Team for their determination and perseverance in achieving both in the classroom and on the golf course, and expect to hear of great accomplishments in the seasons to come. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives commend and recognize the Waccamaw High School Girls Golf Team for its impressive win of the Class AA State Championship Title and honor the players and their coach, Todd Rodenbeck, for an exceptional season.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Coach Todd Rodenbeck of the Waccamaw High School Girls Golf Team.
