VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
CONGRATULATING THE JOHNSONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL GIRL'S TRACK TEAM FOR WINNING THE 2008 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP AND WISHING THEM CONTINUED SUCCESS IN THE FUTURE.
Whereas, the Johnsonville High School Girl's Track Team has won twenty-four consecutive Region Championships; and
Whereas, this dedicated team has won the State Championship Title in 1991, 1992, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, and 2008; and
Whereas, the team won State Runners-Up in 1993, 1994, 2004, and 2005; and
Whereas, the Johnsonville High School Girl's Track Team is the most successful winning Girl's State Track Team in history; and
Whereas, under the leadership of Head Coach Stevie Phillips, and Assistant Coaches Brian Morse, Justin Files, and Traci Le Bherz, the triumphant team consists of members London Barnhill, Latima Hannah, Kayla Ho, Aqavia Malcom, Ta'Vonna McCray, Casey McKee, Christina Pajaro, Amber Perry, Allison Rowell, Tia Singletary, Tiffany Stanley, Ellen Stone, Keyarah Turner, and Callie Vogler. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, congratulate the very successful Johnsonville High School Girl's Track Team on winning the 2008 State Championship Title, and wish the team and their coaches much success in the future.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Johnsonville High School Girl's Track Team.
