A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 50-5-1706 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE DAILY CATCH LIMIT ON SPOT-TAIL BASS IS FIVE FISH PER DAY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Chapter 5, Title 50 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 50-5-1706.    Notwithstanding any other provision of law or regulation of the department to the contrary, the daily catch limit on spot-tail bass is five fish per day."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
