A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO PROVIDE THAT NO STATE FUNDS MAY BE APPROPRIATED TO ANY OUT-OF-STATE MEDICAID BROKERING SYSTEM UNTIL THE LEGISLATIVE AUDIT COUNCIL COMPLETES AN INVESTIGATION AND REPORTS ITS FINDINGS TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA SENATE AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.        To provide that no State funds may be appropriated to any out-of-state Medicaid brokering system until the Legislative Audit council completes an investigation and reports its findings to the South Carolina Senate and House of Representatives.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
