VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND THE GREENVILLE HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY CHEERLEADERS ON THEIR IMPRESSIVE WIN OF THE 2007 CLASS AAA SOUTH CAROLINA HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE'S COMPETITIVE CHEER CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE, AND TO HONOR THE TEAM, COACH REBECCA SENN, AND ASSISTANT COACH CINDY LANGLEY ON AN EXCEPTIONAL SEASON.
Whereas, excellence in cheerleading demands individual strength, agility, and skill, as well as teamwork and good sportsmanship; and
Whereas, using these talents and attributes, Coach Rebecca Senn, Assistant Coach Cindy Langley, and their team showed both fans and foes alike that the Greenville High School varsity cheerleaders are a competitive force to be reckoned with; and
Whereas, the twenty-eight young women of the Greenville High School varsity cheerleading team showed great poise, energy, and grace on the mat, always remaining sportsmanlike and representing their school and surrounding community admirably; and
Whereas, the South Carolina House of Representatives takes great pleasure in recognizing the young women of the Greenville High School varsity cheerleading team for their determination and perseverance in achieving, both in the classroom and on the mat, and expects to hear of great accomplishments in the seasons to come. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and commend the Greenville High School varsity cheerleaders on their impressive win of the 2007 Class AAA South Carolina High School League's Competitive Cheer Championship title, and honor the team, Coach Rebecca Senn, and Assistant Coach Cindy Langley on an exceptional season.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to the principal of Greenville High School, J.F. Lucas, and Coach Rebecca Senn.
