A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO COMMEND MRS. ANNE CRENSHAW DODD, OCONEE COUNTY TREASURER, FOR HER OUTSTANDING SERVICE UPON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT AND TO WISH FOR HER MUCH SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN ALL HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives note that, after more than 25 years of service, Mrs. Anne Crenshaw Dodd is retiring from the position of Oconee County Treasurer; and

Whereas, Anne Crenshaw Dodd, a long-time resident of Oconee County, is a graduate of Keowee High School and attended Anderson College and Forest College; and

Whereas, since June 25, 1981, she has been a part of the Oconee County Treasurer's Office in several capacities, among them chief deputy treasurer for eleven years and treasurer for nine years; and

Whereas, Mrs. Dodd has been of invaluable assistance in her work with professional and community organizations such as the South Carolina Association of Auditors, Treasurers & Tax Collectors, where she has served on various committees; the South Carolina Association of Assessing Officials; the Oconee County Republican Party; the Oconee County Republican Women's Club; Utica Baptist Church, of which she has been a member for thirty-two years; and the Oconee Road Runners Club; and

Whereas, she hopes to enjoy her well-earned retirement with her husband, Mr. James Harold Dodd; her two daughters; and her five grandchildren. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, commend Mrs. Anne Crenshaw Dodd, Oconee County Treasurer, for her outstanding service upon the occasion of her retirement and wish for her much success and happiness in all her future endeavors.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Mrs. Anne Crenshaw Dodd.
