Whereas, individual medalist was McCuen Elmore, for the second year in a row, with a steady showing of 71 and 70 during the two-day match; and
Whereas, Elmore also joins his teammate Jordan Williams as a member of the AA All-State team for 2007; and
Whereas, the Braves team, also including Stephen Adeimy, Shelton Goodwin, Andrew Lewis, John Weeks, Kaleb Keefe, and Nathan Jewart, outdistanced the opposing Chapman team by four strokes in earning the State crown; and
Whereas, Head coach Chris Smith and his assistants Zach Mills and Nita Weeks have put together a tough golf program at Cheraw High School, with a bright future for further team and individual state championship play. Now, therefore,
