A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR REVEREND JOHNNY R. NOBLE UPON THE OCCASION OF HIS INSTALLATION AS PASTOR OF SECOND NAZARETH BAPTIST CHURCH OF RICHLAND COUNTY, AND TO WISH HIM ALL THE BEST AS HE LEADS HIS CONGREGATION.

Whereas, called to the ministry in 1991 at the tender age of sixteen, Reverend Johnny R. Noble answered God's pull by becoming licensed to preach in 1993 by Dr. Franklin D. Sampson, Sr. and the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Houston, Texas; and

Whereas, Reverend Noble was ordained in 2002 by Reverend Lenzo V. Scott at the Ellen Burr Baptist Church of Leesville, Louisiana, where he also served as pastor; and

Whereas, deeply involved in numerous churches and ministries throughout the nation, he has touched the lives of thousands of congregants with his inspiring leadership and servant's heart; and

Whereas, a champion and advocate of youth causes, Reverend Noble is the founder and president of Chosen Generation Ministries, a Christian nonprofit organization devoted to preparing youth to face the challenges of a changing world; and

Whereas, Reverend Noble's impressive academic honors include a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, Master's and Doctoral degrees in Theology, and Master's and Doctoral degrees in Christian Counseling Psychology. He is also an accomplished author of two preacher-oriented publications; and

Whereas, a devoted husband and father, Reverend Noble shares a loving marriage with his wife, Kenya Latrice Carson Noble, and adores his daughter, Marissa Noble; and

Whereas, striving to meet people where they are, Reverend Noble's extraordinary ability to relate to others results in changed lives for all who come into contact with him; and

Whereas, Reverend Noble serves his community through his membership in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, the Third Degree Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, and the NAACP; and

Whereas, the South Carolina Senate takes great pride in honoring this man of God for all the good he has done and will continue to do for this great State in his role as pastor of Second Nazareth Baptist Church. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize and honor Reverend Johnny R. Noble upon the occasion of his installation as pastor of Second Nazareth Baptist Church of Richland County, and wish him all the best as he leads his congregation.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Reverend Johnny R. Noble.
