AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 201 OF 1993, RELATING TO PAYMENT FOR SERVICES RENDERED BY MEMBERS OF THE WILLISTON SCHOOL DISTRICT 29 BOARD OF TRUSTEES IN BARNWELL COUNTY, SO AS TO DELETE THE PROVISION THAT NO MORE THAN TWELVE SPECIAL MEETINGS MAY BE HELD IN ONE CALENDAR YEAR.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Deletion of special meetings limitation
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Act 201 of 1993 is amended to read:
"Section 1. The members of the Board of Trustees, except the chairman, of Williston School District 29 in Barnwell County shall receive one hundred dollars each month and fifty dollars for each special meeting. The chairman shall receive one hundred and fifty dollars each month and seventy-five dollars for each special meeting."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 6th day of May, 2010.
Approved the 11th day of May, 2010.
