A BILL

TO REPEAL SECTION 41-1-85 OF THE 1976 CODE, RELATING TO THE PROHIBITION OF TAKING A PERSONNEL ACTION BASED ON THE USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS OUTSIDE OF THE WORKPLACE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 41-1-85 of the 1976 Code, relating to the prohibition of taking personnel actions based on the use of tobacco products outside the workplace, is repealed.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
