A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 56-5-5015, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE USE OF SUNSCREEN DEVICES ON MOTOR VEHICLES, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT VEHICLES ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THIS PROVISION.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 56-5-5015(H)(2) of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"(2)    a law enforcement vehicle used regularly to transport a canine trained for law enforcement purposes."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
