To whom was referred a Bill (H. 4016) to amend Section 17-22-50, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to persons prohibited from intervention, so as to exclude persons who committed saltwater, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 17-22-50, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO PERSONS PROHIBITED FROM INTERVENTION, SO AS TO EXCLUDE PERSONS WHO COMMITTED SALTWATER FISHERY-RELATED OFFENSES FROM INTERVENTION.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 17-22-50(A)(2)(d) of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"(d)    a fish, game, wildlife, or commercial fishery-related offense which is punishable by a loss of eighteen points as provided in Section 50-5-2500 or Section 50-9-1120;"

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
