A JOINT RESOLUTION
TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation - Building Codes Council, RELATING TO International Plumbing Code, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 5416, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation - Building Codes Council, relating to International Plumbing Code, designated as Regulation Document Number 5416, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the S.C. Code, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

The South Carolina Building Codes Council proposes to amend Chapter 8, Article 14, to reflect modifications to the 2024 South Carolina Building Codes, the International Plumbing Code.
