VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
A bill
TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY REPEALING SECTION 16-17-560 RELATING TO THE OFFENSE OF ASSAULTING, INTIMIDATING, FIRING FROM EMPLOYMENT, OR EJECTING FROM PROPERTY CITIZENS ON ACCOUNT OF THEIR POLITICAL OPINIONS OR THE EXERCISE OF THEIR CIVIL RIGHTS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 16-17-560 of the S.C. Code is repealed.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
