    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 59-29-65 SO AS TO DECLARE THE MONTH OF OCTOBER EACH YEAR AS EUROPEAN-AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE SEVERAL SCHOOLS OF THIS STATE AS A PART OF THEIR REGULAR CURRICULUM DURING THIS MONTH SHALL EXAMINE THE INGENUITY, CREATIVITY, CULTURAL, AND POLITICAL EXPERIENCES OF THOSE INDIVIDUALS FROM EUROPE AND OF EUROPEAN DESCENT AND THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE CULTURAL, POLITICAL, AND ECONOMIC INSTITUTIONS OF THE UNITED STATES.
