A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 44-30-100 so as to prohibit a health care professional from referring a patient for treatment or tests to a facility or an entity in which the professional has a financial interest unless the professional first notifies the patient in writing of the nature of the financial interest, and provide exceptions.
