    AN ACT TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 12-6-3770 SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR AN INCOME TAX CREDIT TO AN INDIVIDUAL OR BUSINESS THAT CONSTRUCTS, PURCHASES, OR LEASES CERTAIN SOLAR ENERGY PROPERTY AND PLACES IT IN SERVICE IN THIS STATE, AND TO PROVIDE A DEFINITION OF "SOLAR ENERGY PROPERTY"; AND TO AMEND SECTION 12-6-3587, RELATING TO THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF CERTAIN SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS, SO AS TO ALLOW AN INCOME TAX CREDIT FOR CERTAIN COSTS INCURRED BY THE TAXPAYER IN THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF GEOTHERMAL MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT, AND TO PROVIDE A DEFINITION OF "GEOTHERMAL MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT". - ratified title
