    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 23-31-210, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE DEFINITION OF TERMS CONTAINED IN THE "LAW ABIDING CITIZENS SELF-DEFENSE ACT OF 1996" WHICH AUTHORIZES PERMITS TO BE ISSUED TO SPECIFIED RESIDENTS TO CARRY CONCEALED WEAPONS UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, SO AS TO REVISE THE DEFINITION OF THE TERM "RESIDENT" TO INCLUDE AN INDIVIDUAL WHO POSSESSES A VALID SOUTH CAROLINA VOTER REGISTRATION CARD OR A VALID SOUTH CAROLINA DRIVER'S LICENSE.
