    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 56-1-2100, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A COMMERCIAL DRIVER LICENSE, SO AS TO REQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO TAKE REASONABLE STEPS TO ENSURE THAT THE NAME OF AN APPLICANT APPLYING FOR A LICENSE OR RENEWAL OF A LICENSE WITH A HAZARDOUS MATERIALS ENDORSEMENT DOES NOT APPEAR ON THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S TERRORIST WATCH LIST AND IS RESIDING IN THE UNITED STATES IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE IMMIGRATION LAWS OF THIS COUNTRY.
