A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 59-63-95 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A STUDENT REQUIRED TO HAVE A PHYSICAL EXAMINATION IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN SCHOOL ATHLETIC PROGRAMS MAY HAVE THE EXAMINATION CONDUCTED BY A CHIROPRACTOR.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 59-63-95. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a student required to have a physical examination in order to participate in school athletic programs may have the examination conducted by a chiropractor."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
