AN ACT TO AMEND SECTIONS 33-1-200 AND 33-31-120, AS AMENDED, BOTH RELATING TO THE FILING REQUIREMENTS OF CERTAIN DOCUMENTS, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE DOCUMENT MUST BE IN A MEDIUM AND FORM AS PERMITTED BY THE SECRETARY OF STATE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Filing requirement
SECTION 1. Section 33-1-200(d) of the 1976 Code is amended to read:
"(d) The document must be in a medium and form as permitted by the Secretary of State."
Filing requirement
SECTION 2. Section 33-31-120(d) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 384 of 1994, is further amended to read:
"(d) The document must be in a medium and form as permitted by the Secretary of State."
Time effective
SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 26th day of May, 2005.
Approved the 1st day of June, 2005.
