Former Section 13-9-30 set forth the powers and duties of the Savannah Valley Authority.

1993 Act No. 164, Part II, Section 52, amended Section 13-9-30, effective June 21, 1993. Subsequently, 1993 Act No. 181, Section 1617(A), repealed Section 13-9-30, effective July 1, 1993, and by Section 245, enacted Section 13-1-620, containing substantially the same provisions as former Section 13-9-30. At the direction of the Code Commissioner, the amendment to Section 13-9-30 by 1993 Act No. 164, Part II, Section 52, has been executed to Section 13-1-620, pursuant to the direction of 1993 Act No. 181, Section 1614.

SECTION 13-9-35. Repealed by 1993 Act No. 181, Section 1617(A), eff July 1, 1993.

SECTION 13-9-50. Repealed by 1993 Act No. 181, Section 1617(A), eff July 1, 1993.

SECTION 13-9-100. Repealed by 1993 Act No. 181, Section 1617(A), eff July 1, 1993.

Former Section 13-9-100 provided that bonds must be sold at public or private sale upon terms and conditions as the State Budget and Control Board considers advisable, and was derived from 1983 Act No. 1, Section 8; 1985 Act No. 77, Section 2.

SECTION 13-9-110. Repealed by 1993 Act No. 181, Section 1617(A), eff July 1, 1993.

Former Section 13-9-110 required the filing of a description of all obligations entered into by the Authority board and was derived from 1983 Act No. 1, Section 9; 1985 Act No. 77, Section 2.

Former Section 13-9-140 provided that earnings were to benefit the Authority only, and that the property of the Authority was to vest in the state upon termination of the Authority, and was derived from 1985 Act No. 77, Section 2; 1992 Act No. 456, Section 7.

SECTION 13-9-150. Repealed by 1993 Act No. 181, Section 1617(A), eff July 1, 1993.

Editor's Note

Former Section 13-9-150 provided that the authority was to retain unexpended funds at the close of the fiscal year regardless of the source of the funds, and expend the funds in subsequent fiscal years, and was derived from 1985 Act No. 77, Section 2; 1992 Act No. 456, Section 8.

SECTION 13-9-160. Repealed by 1993 Act No. 181, Section 1617(A), eff July 1, 1993.

Former Section 13-9-160 pertained to determinations that the board of the authority was required to make prior to undertaking any project authorized by Section 13-9-40 and was derived from 1985 Act No. 77, Section 2.

Former Section 13-9-180 provided that the regulations of the authority must be promulgated in accordance with Chapter 23 of Title 1, and was derived from 1992 No. 456, Section 9.

SECTION 13-9-190. Repealed by 1993 Act No. 181, Section 1617(A), eff July 1, 1993.

Former Section 13-9-190 was entitled "Establishment of profit or not-for-profit corporations; grants, loans, and loan guarantees thereto" and was derived from 1992 Act No. 456, Section 9.

SECTION 13-9-200. Repealed by 1993 Act No. 181, Section 1617(A), eff July 1, 1993.

Editor's Note

Former Section 13-9-200 provided that the property of the authority was not subject to taxes or assessments but that it was to negotiate a payment in lieu of taxes with the appropriate taxing authorities, and was derived from 1992 Act No. 456, Section 9.

SECTION 13-9-210. Repealed by 1993 Act No. 181, Section 1617(A), eff July 1, 1993.
