A JOINT RESOLUTION TO AMEND SECTION 7-5-10, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO COUNTY BOARDS OF VOTER REGISTRATION AND ELECTIONS, SO AS TO REQUIRE THAT THE CHAIRMAN BE APPOINTED BY THE GOVERNOR UPON RECOMMENDATION OF THE COUNTY LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION; AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE APPOINTED CHAIRMAN SHALL CONTINUE TO SERVE UNTIL HIS SUCCESSOR IS APPOINTED AND QUALIFIED.
