A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 44-77-145 so as to provide that no person may be denied admission to a licensed health care facility or licensed long-term care facility because he has not executed a declaration pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 77 of Title 44 of the 1976 Code, the Death with Dignity Act, and to provide that the Department of Health and Environmental Control shall revoke the license of a facility found to be in violation of this Section.
