A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 56-5-6240 so as to provide for a twenty-five percent reduction in any fine and points assessed for violations of certain provisions of the Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways if the offender is wearing a seat belt at the time of the violation; and to amend the 1976 Code by adding Section 56-7-60 so as to provide space on the uniform traffic ticket to note if the offender was wearing his seat belt.
