H 2482 General Bill, By  House Labor, Commerce and Industry
    A Bill to amend Section 42-9-260, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to notice to the Workers' Compensation Commission when payments have begun and suspension or termination of payments, so as to provide for notification to the parties at issue of the time and place of hearing, which must be held within a certain period of time; to amend Section 42-17-20, relating to the hearing before the Workers' Compensation Commission on amount of compensation payable, so as to provide for when the hearing under this Section must be held; and to amend Section 1-23-320, relating to provisions for notice and hearing in contested cases under the Administrative Procedures Act, so as to exempt from these provisions proceedings before the Workers' Compensation Commission, which are governed instead by Sections 42-9-260 and 42-17-20
