    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 8-11-40, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO SICK LEAVE ALLOWED STATE EMPLOYEES, SO AS TO ELIMINATE THE REQUIREMENT THAT FOR AN EMPLOYEE TO USE SICK LEAVE TO CARE FOR THE EMPLOYEE'S SICK GRANDCHILD, THE GRANDCHILD MUST RESIDE WITH THE EMPLOYEE AND THE EMPLOYEE MUST BE THE GRANDCHILD'S PRIMARY CARETAKER.
