A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 14-1-185 so as to provide for expedited proceedings in criminal and family court cases involving a child victim; by adding Section 19-11-110 so as to permit the testimony of a child less than sixteen years of age who is a victim or witness in a sexual offense case by closed circuit television under certain conditions; and by adding Section 19-17-100 so as to permit in certain cases the taking of a videotape deposition of a child less than sixteen years of age who is the victim of a sexual offense, to provide procedures to be used in these depositions, and to authorize the admission into evidence of this deposition at trial under certain conditions.
