A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 23-1-235 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT BEFORE A PERSON MAY BE EMPLOYED BY A LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY IN THIS STATE, HE MUST UNDERGO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK WHICH SPANS AT LEAST TEN YEARS.
