A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 16-3-620, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATED TO ASSAULT AND BATTERY WITH INTENT TO KILL, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT ANY PERSON CONVICTED OF ASSAULT AND BATTERY WITH INTENT TO KILL SHALL BE PUNISHED BY IMPRISONMENT FOR NOT LESS THAN A MANDATORY MINIMUM OF TEN YEARS TO IMPRISONMENT FOR LIFE.
