A Bill to amend Section 44-51-160, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to judicially hospitalized patients leaving alcoholic and drug addict treatment centers without permission or violating conditions of release, so as to change references to judicially hospitalized patients to nonemergency hospitalized patients, and to provide that any patient who violates the conditions of his release may be taken into custody on written order of the court, instead of on written order of the head of the treatment facility.
