    A Bill to amend Section 12-37-250, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to homestead exemption, so as to provide that the date for filing application for the exemption be made by July fifteenth instead of by May first and to increase the exemption from the first twenty thousand dollars of the fair market value of the dwelling place to the first thirty thousand dollars beginning with the 1986 tax year.
