    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 23-6-300, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE CREATION, FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY'S MOTOR VEHICLE DIVISION, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE DIVISION MAY ENTER INTO CONTRACTS WITH PERSONS, CORPORATIONS, OR GOVERNMENTAL SUBDIVISIONS THROUGHOUT THE STATE TO PROVIDE CERTAIN MOTOR VEHICLE SERVICES, AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE DIVISION SHALL SUPERVISE THE PROVISION OF THESE SERVICES, AND COMPENSATE EACH CONTRACTING PARTY THAT PROVIDES THESE SERVICES.
