    A Bill to provide that any state employee, who is injured as a result of criminal conduct of another while engaged in assigned duties as a State Law Enforcement Officer or an an employee of any State Correctional Institution and such injury renders such person incapable of performing his work as a state employee, shall continue to receive full state compensation for a period of one year or such lesser period as his incapacity continues without prejudice to his right to obtain Workmen's Compensation benefits in appropriate circumstances.
