A BILL TO PROVIDE THAT BEGINNING WITH SCHOOL YEAR 2003-2004, THE STARTING DATE AND ENDING DATE FOR THE ANNUAL SCHOOL TERM OF SPARTANBURG COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS ONE THROUGH SEVEN MUST BE SET BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF EACH RESPECTIVE DISTRICT IN THEIR SOLE DISCRETION, PROVIDED THAT THE ANNUAL SCHOOL TERM MUST COMPLY WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 59-1-420 RELATING TO LENGTH OF THE SCHOOL TERM.
