A Bill to create the South Carolina Judicial Nominating Commission to assist the General Assembly in the selection of justices and judges of the State Court System, provide for the membership of the Commission, and provide the procedure for the nomination and selection of candidates for judicial vacancies in the courts of record of this State; and to amend Section 2-19-10, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the Joint Committee to Review Candidates for Offices Elected by the General Assembly, so as to delete inclusion of members of the Judiciary.
