A Bill to amend Section 53-5-20, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the authority of the Governor to declare Christmas Eve a holiday for state employees, so as to provide that the Governor may not declare Christmas Eve a holiday for state employees if there is an intervening weekend between the holiday granted for December twenty-fifth and the holiday granted for December twenty-sixth unless he declares Christmas Eve a holiday in lieu of the holiday to be granted for December twenty-sixth.
