    A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY AMENDING SECTION 30-5-35, RELATING TO DERIVATION CLAUSES ON DEEDS AND MORTGAGES, SO AS TO PROVIDE ALL MORTGAGES AND DEEDS EXECUTED AFTER JUNE 30, 2023, MUST INCLUDE INFORMATION IDENTIFYING THE PARTY WHO PREPARED THE INSTRUMENT OR THE ATTORNEY LICENSED IN THIS STATE WHO ASSISTED IN THE CLOSING OF THE INSTRUMENT.
