    A Bill to amend Section 40-45-20, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to physical therapists, so as to revise the definition of physical therapy and to delete the definition of a prescription; to amend Section 40-45-200, relating to the grounds for refusal, suspension, or revocation of the registration of physical therapists, so as to delete the ground providing for those who practice independent of the prescription of a licensed Doctor of Medicine or Dentistry and to provide for a new ground relating to fees; and to amend Section 40-45-220, as amended, relating to treatment by physical therapists and supervision of assistants, so as to delete the provision that a registered physical therapist may not practice independent of the prescription of a licensed Doctor of Medicine or Dentistry.
