A Bill to amend Chapter 55, Title 38, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to unfair or deceptive insurance trade practices by adding Section 38-55-420 so as to provide that any individual has standing to institute an action to enjoin an unfair practice prohibited by the above Chapter and to provide that any individual aggrieved by such an unfair trade practice may bring an action at law to recover damages sustained as a result of the unfair practice.
